Hey all! I wanted to make everyone aware that I will be creating a new GitHub repository for Hydra automations, primarily covering scripts I’ve used out in the field that can be beneficial for any Hydra + AVD deployments:

Because Hydra uses Azure’s Run Command capabilities, it runs these scripts under SYSTEM context. You also have the option to define a service account if a particular user account is needed! That opens the door to a ton of possibilities. With all of the areas you can trigger these scripts in Hydra – imaging, machine deletion/creation, and even on a schedule, Hydra can really help streamline a lot of processes you may be doing manually today.
Most, if not all, of the scripts will be .ps1 files that you can just copy straight into your Scripts section within Hydra. I will create a section within the README that provides an overview of the script so you know what it’s for and how to use it.
I will continue to add to this repository as time goes on and I spend more time developing these solutions for our customers’ unique challenges and requirements.
